Every time you turned the television on before Christmas there was a TV cookery programme telling you how to bake a wonderful Christmas.
I like to watch Nigella because she makes me laugh at the way she watches the camera. I made the Ginger Preserve Ham this year, didn’t look anything like the one on the TV but hubby did like to “smear it all over” whilst licking his lips.
Anyway, she made fudge; quick, easy and delicious.
350g dark chocolate
400g condensed milk
2 tbps butter
150 g of chopped pistachios
Melt the dark chocolate in a large pan with the condensed milk. Add the butter and stir until mixed thoroughly. Add the nuts pop in tray and shove in fridge. It’s yummy! No thermometers needed and no double cooker!
It’s not like a traditional fudge and gets sticky when you take it out of the fridge but for a quick fix it’s delicious!
